The Green County Ag Chest was organized in 1958 when the Green County Dairy Promotion Committee and the Green County Agricultural Foundation merged.

Our objective is to promote Green County, its products, its resources, and its people, especially youth and youth activities involved with home economics and agriculture.

The Green County Ag Chest sponsors many projects including:

• Queen Program
• Dairy Breakfast
• Dairy Days
• Green County Tourism
• 4H Clubs & FFA trips
• State Fair Transportation
• Scholarships

The Green County Ag Chest trailers can be seen throughout the county, southern Wisconsin, and Northern Illinois during the summer months selling homemade cream puffs, Green County Gold “cheese”, ice cream, and hearty beef and pork sandwiches.  The money earned is used to sponsor the youth of the county.

Any person is welcome to attend the Ag Chest meetings and take part in activities.
